Hope and Salvation
For believers Jesus is our comforter, provider, and protector. It is in him in whom we put our trust and faith in. It is also thru Jesus that we experience love, peace hope and joy. We all are sinners by nature, for all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). It is through being humble and submissive that we have come to learn about the grace and love of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.
It does not matter what your situation or your past is, God accepts and loves you for who you are. Everyone has a different and unique situation which have lead them to accept and believe in Christ. Some were raised in the church, and received salvation at a early age, some may have experienced a life of physical and substance abuse, and some may have had a life changing experience such as the Apostle Paul on his trip to Damascus (Acts 9:1-22). Whatever your background or situation God can fix it and he is waiting to hear from you.
How do I become saved? It is really very simple, as simple as ABC:
- Acknowledge that you are a sinner
- Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and that he was crucified, buried, and on the 3rd day he rose from the grave.
- Confess your sins
This can be done by saying a simple easy prayer wherever you are:
Dear Lord, I am a sinner and I need your grace and mercy. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, and that he rose from the dead. Please forgive me for my sins and come into my life as my Lord and savior. In Jesus name - Amen
Congratulations on a new beginning! To give this new relationship new meaning read your Bible to get a deeper understanding of God's word, talk to God every day in prayer, and find a place of worship where you can worship and fellowship with other Christians. If you recently accepted Christ into your life, we would like to hear from you.
You may be already saved, but you may be facing some sort of problem that is wearing you out, causing sleepless nights. If this applies to you then please know that whatever your problem, whether it is dealing with the loss of a loved one, illness, a spouse, children, or financial, prayer is the answer. At times obstacles are put in our way, and prayer is a good way to remove those obstacles. Trials and tribulations are a way to build us up and make us stronger. So whatever your situation might be do not give up, hang in there trust in God and he will deliver you out of your predicament (2 Corinthians 1: 8-10).
If you are in need of prayer, please submit a prayer request. When you submit, believe that whatever you are asking God to do, it will come to pass. Also know that all requests will be prayed over, and please indicate if you would like for someone to contact you.
Everything may be going well for you. Well count your blessings. If life is treating you well give God all of the praise and glory. Thank him for smiling down upon you and your household (Ephesians 5:20). While God is our protector and provider, it is pleasant to offer up a prayer of thanksgiving and praise instead of always asking for something. Once you have finished offering up thanks, say a prayer for someone who may be experiencing difficulty in their life, asking God to find favor and mercy on others is the most Christ like thing that you can do.
